SMARTS is the most
comprehensive service available to faculty and staff at EOHSI is the
SMARTS system from InfoEd International. The investigator completes
a profile of his or her research interests on the Web. The investigator
profile information is matched against the SPIN database, a comprehensive
database of over 10,000 funding opportunities issued by the federal
government, corporate and other private sources, and international sponsors.
Every day, matched programs are emailed automatically to the individual
investigator with full details of the opportunity. To register for this
service, go to: http://grants.umdnj.edu/spin_start.html

allows an individual to select precisely the kind of announcements he
or she is interested in receiving and, when those announcements are
released, the individual will receive an email notification which contains
the Web address of the full announcement. The full text of selected
documents can be accessed on your own personal homepage, created for
you by NSF, and resident on the NSF's server. The NSF funds research
in a wide range of non-medical science, including social science. To
set up your profile, go to www.nsf.gov/home/cns/start.htm.
