Environmental Epidemiology and Statistics Division

Under the direction of Daniel Wartenberg, PH.D., the Division conducts a variety of research and teaching activities primarily involving field, epidemiological and ecological studies of the effects of exposures to chemical and physical agents, with a major focus on public health. Division members are at the forefront in studies of dioxin, lead, and other heavy metals. The researchers are also examining approaches to the study of disease clusters and exposure modeling.
